About the Video Competition

The Communicator Awards honors creative excellence in Video by seeking out the best in Video/Film/Mutli-Media Productions, Broadcast Commercials and Programs, Cable Commercials/Programs and Television News and Promotions.

Video entries are judged against a high standard of excellence based on the Communicator Awards' 14-year history of judging work, rather than against each other. A category may have multiple winners or no winners at all. The Award of Excellence is given to those entries whose ability to communicate puts them among the best in the field. The Award of Distinction is presented for projects that exceed industry standards in quality and excellence.

The Communicator Awards Competition is open to all companies, agencies, organizations or individuals involved in producing Video materials for external or internal audiences. To be eligible for a Communicator Award, an entry must have been produced after January 1, 2006 as there is a two-year window of eligibility for the competition.

Who Should Enter: Production Firms, In-house creative professionals, Public Relations Firms, Direct Marketing Agencies, Local TV Stations and Affiliates, and Local Cable Companies.
